Lars Corneliussen is a Danish painter based in Herning. His work is primarily figurative, using portraiture and everyday situations to explore vulnerability, isolation, attention and the strange ways people connect with each other.
Before focusing on painting, he worked for a decade as a concept artist and illustrator in film and games. That background still informs the way he approaches composition, colour and narrative.
